Head Swap and Ecu
I have a 1999 Honda Civic D16y7 and am swaping head and puting in a d16y8 and then am goin to put an a p2p ecu. Does the ecu need to be the same year as the head or as the car?

for plug and play you are gonna need a 99-00 ECU. you'll need to wire up the VTEC solenoid, vtec pressure switch, knock sensor and convert to a 2 wire IACV
