haze on carbon fiber
How do you fix the haze you get on carbon fiber parts? I knew there was a thread a while ago about using some products on it to make it look like new again but couldnt find it using the search.
Also, my paint/clear coat has oxidation spots on it. White splotches for those who dont know or need descriptions. How do I get rid of this? Do I need to repaint the car?

i think i know what thread your talking about. But someone on here suggested 3m cleaner/wax. You can pick it up at a boat store, its for gel coat.

sand it down and put some clear coat paint on and buff it out, and call it a day. also if the c/b is already yellow, you can just buy your self another hood, cuz that thing is gone, tryed it, it looked good but the yellow didn't come off. good luck

Re: haze on carbon fiber (deviant1)
from experiance, once a car has started oxidizing its all over, however if you buy a buffing machine (DA machine) , and dimond crystol polish its a temp fix, will last a couple months at the least and a year if waxed regularly. you cant stop oxidization once it starts just make it look like its not there w/polish. you can also aply the polish by hand if you dont want the machine, but u have to aply a decent amount of pressure.
as for the carbon fiber i would realy like to know about that cuz i have haze in only one spot that you can only see in certian light from a certian angle but when u see it its so obvious and looks like a *** stain.
