HELP! hatchy wont start
The other day i get into my hatch and turn the ignition and nothing happens, i take my key out and then my car starts tryin to start itself and im like wtf, i then put my key back in and start my car but theres an extra sound going on that i can notice. I take the key out and my car wont shut off and then bout a few seconds later it shuts off. Im thinking something electrical happend while it was raining out here. I checked my fuses in my engine bay / dash area and my 10 amp was blown under the hood so i thought it was just a fuse, but i put a new one in and the car still wont even start trying to turn over, i just get nothing. My lights on my dash light up and my headlights work. So im just wondering if any1 else has any idea wut it could be, i was thinking maybe starter??? i have a stock `92 vx hatch with about 140,xxx miles.

It's because you touch yourself at night.
But really, if you think it's the starter, turn your lights on and try to crank it. If the lights dim, then the starter is at least trying to pull current and it's probably fine. It sounds like you've got a bad ignition switch or something to me...maybe a main relay.
Good luck

Re: hatchy wont start (Archidictus)
My car has 150,xxx miles on the stock motor and the clutch was pretty bad so today i tried push starting it and the car turned over but you could just hear the clutch grinding. I was able to drive it down the street to turn around but than i just parked it in the driveway. Shouldn't my car still be able to try and turn over with a bad clutch?? So im still thinking something with the wiring and than also my clutch.

if u think its a problem with the clutch check the wires near you clutch pedal. they might have gotten some moisture in them or riped or been cut somehow. there basicly like a clutch safety switch so if its not down it wont let the car start but it still has power and if there not letting current flow the car might not be seeing the clutch is down. try checking those.
