Default hatch power option conversion

I was just wondering when doing power windows/locks/mirrors you use the the ex floor/door harnesses and same year coup as your hatch.. but you get that extra plug where the gas tank is...

so my point is... can you use the HX floor harness since HX has power options as well and doesn't have that extra plug when the gas tank is?

Why wouldn't it work? You're just running power to motors and solenoids. Just make sure to get everything. I think there's a box that goes under the dash and controls windows or something. I think it's more than just the harness, but could be wrong...

You should be able to use an HX harness on a '96 - '98 Civic. '99 - '00 HXs are OBD2A unlike all other '99 - '00 Civics so if you happen to have a '99 - '00 Civic I wouldn't try to use an HX harness.
