Terrible highway rpm's?? b16 turbo w/ls tranny
Hey there i recently purchased a 94 hatch with a jdm b16 turbo with ls tranny on it and i never really knew but i took it on the highway yesterday and at like 75mph im almost in the primary vtec, is this normal for the ls trans to be geared like that. also, what tranny can i get to give me good torque and good highway mileage?thanks

No. When Im on the interstate at 75mph Im at like 2500-3000 (i have an ls). That's probably not an ls trans.
And to answer your second question... an LS would normally be the good choice for mpg concious . Or a gsr, which is slightly longer than a b16 and slightly shorter than an ls.

You def don't have a LS tranny in there man hahaha.
But B16 is better anyway so be glad. On a stock B16 with B16 tranny, I got around 30mpg on highway.
