take off your center console where the lever is and take a 10mm socket wrench and tighten the nut where the two cables meet the the metal cross brace that should make it work better

dont do that. Just go get a rear brake adjustment at a dealership. Or get a service manual for your car and do it urself. It's actually not that hard. Just take off both back wheels. Pop off the black rubber piece on the drums/disks. Spin it until u see a little gear. Then tighten that down however tight u would like. I think stock is around 6-10 clicks on the e-brake.

if u want. I know at my dealership some of the techs make the e-brakes pretty tight. I've only ever heard of one bad thing about over tightening the rear brakes. It was with some of the older GM cars. The specs were like 30 clicks back from all the way tight. If they were adjusted like other cars (6-12 clicks) then it would be like pulling the e-brake as hard as u could if u slammed the brakes on in an emergeny situation and the car would spin out of control.
