Default Half shaft differences?

Edit: Engine b16
Trans: B16 w/Itr lsd finial

Is there a difference between 92-00 and 91-88 halfshafts?

I needed axels and a half shaft to finish my car, And my bud had some from his 91 b16 swap that he gave me. When I installed the pass axel it went in with out and problems But when I tried to install the half saft it wouldn't go in. As if the spine count is different or something?

Could some one shed some light on this for me please

I'm pretty sure it's a different spline setup. and the mounting bracket looks different (it's been a while since i've seen them)

just hit up the market place for a half shaft.. i got one for 40 shipped a few weeks ago.

pretty sure the splines are the same but your axles have to match the half shaft.

As mentioned in my previous post, The passanger axel fit fine and its the half shaft that didnt fit in for some reason.
So if the passenger axel worked the splin count cant be different...
Only thing I could think of is maybe it was longer for some reason? Also I have the matching axel to this half shaft and is the reason I would like to make it fit. I just need to know what has to be done

thanks

you need a different axle seal with that mid shaft. the splines are the same. the axle seal is preventing it from seating properly
