Default Had some questions on swaps

I was wondering wat is the an easy engine to swap and fast that wont cost an arm and a leg? i was thinking about a bseries but can people help me out and give some knowledge on the HEAD and the block? LONG BLOCK / SHORT BLOCK? i know short block has less stuff ect. but can anyone give me some details ? New to the game with a Si hatch bone stock and wanted to know some info . i'm a visual person so if people have pics of motors and details that would be MOSTLY APPRECIATED !!!

He meant the top of this page:

https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/1

That's the main page for the '92-'00 tech section.

long block= head and block (notting else) this is good to get when u want to build ur own motorfrom scratch.
short block= just block only.
what is ur budget?
cheapest b swap is the b16 but with less money, maybe half the price of a b16 u can bolt up a turbo to your single cam motor and have more power than a stock b16 .
it all comes down to what ur budget is and what u want..
do more research on here, dont rush into things.
do your project once,and right.

I want to add to this thread since I have a similar question, but mine has to do with Ets...

How fast can I go with a boosted stock internal'ed B18B in a 97 civic coupe EX with full interior? Considering a decent size turbo and about 10-14 psi on pump gas (91).
