h2b build help??
ok so i finally decided to do a h2b setup...but there are some question i wanna ask first before doing...
1st. would i need a h22 harness, or would the b series be fine
2nd. would the stock b series axle be fine n what L bracket do i need
3rd. what do i have to hit, cut, wield on the frame
so far i have not invested into this setup, but i am going to do it hopefully be done in 3 months from now.. so far i have is a b16 tranny, long block h22a1 with no harness, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and dizzy.. planning to rebuild this motor from scratch, but a rebuilt kit for 300, buy the plate including mounts for 1400 (have to buy this **** first or else im never gonna do it), and buy what left i need to get this project running on my eg..
this is my first time doing a h swap.. tired of b series.. i wanna go cheap but fast and decided this was the only way to go

Re: h2b build help??
1. The b harness will work, will just have to extend a few wires, like the alternator cables since its on the front of the motor vs the back
2. You use stock b series axles with h2b and a b series L bracket
3. If you move the crank pulley 1/2 over, and shave it down to just the alternator part you shouldn't have to bang the frame at all. All the info you need on how to do this is in the h2b FAQs of the hybrid section
Overall its basically just like a b swap, with the exception of grinding the back of the block and modifying the header to angle right
