If you plan to go turbo, B18C1 Or H22.

should I have pizza or a sandwich for lunch?

It is up to you. The Type R engine has high compression, and would need to be built and tuned conservatively to run on a turbo safely. The H22 would probably be in the same boat. The b18c would be an easier swap, and there would be room for a turbo. You would have room for a turbo on the h22, but not as much. Do some research before you go all crazy spending money.

BTW, I chose Pizza

thanks. one more question though. why is the h22 so mcuh cheaper? h22 has way more torque and lower compression. sorry im a little new to this. ive always been around the honda scene but im now just really breaking into it.

Its not in high demand. It is a harder swap, it has rumors of reliability issues, and people seem to think it is so much heavier than the b series, which it is not. Thats why it is cheaper.

if you're planning to go boost, I would get a GSR.

what's the point of buying a type r motor if you're going to turbo it?
just get a b18c.
