I believe 96-98 is OBD2a and 99-00 is OBD2b.

That swap will go in but you'll need to get an H22 dizzy that is internal coil (most are external coil, especially OBD1's) and you'll be able to swap it in basically as a B-series, aside from the shift linkage and different mount kit. Check out these threads (From the FAQ's of this forum)
OBD-I Engine into OBD-IIa or OBD-IIb civic or integra https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1972711
Basic H22 Swap Information https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=362984
Also you might consider H2B (B-series running gear with an H22 Motor)

Good Luck!
