Default H22 Question

ok ive heard a few rumors that having a H22 in a eg hatchback wouldent be 100% reliable for daily drivin is this true? cause i think i might drop in a H22 in to my hatch an d use it for a daily drivin and maybe I/E and maybe low boost.

I dont know why it would not be a good idea, i would do it if i had a h22 sitting around. People say they are heavy.. but they are not THAT much heavier then any B series engine it should be alright.. Thats my opinion tho

they're about 30lbs heavier.

Wouldn't make any difference.

You needed a tune my friend, what makes the H so unreliable with boost?

point is, nothing.

With an h22 most cars will be in the 13's and sub 13's.

No need for turbo for most people

Actually the FRM sleeves on the H22 make it unreliable with FI.

first off, your nott gonna just "drop it in there " becuase h22s in civics you have to cut off the tranny mount and lower it i believe.. unless you want to buy the 400 engine mounts... plus making the linkage fit right, and on top of that, the 350 axles that you need to do that with... you should be all set...
