h22 into eg hatch---not much power for some reason...need help
alright i just got done swapping a h22 into my brothers eg, but we have some problems,
it does not have very much power, also no vtec.
its not throwing any codes or nothing.
also i heard if you dont upgrade the exhaust to something bigger then it will run like this. ever heard of that?
were running a jdm h22 with lsd trans, jvt headers, intake, stock exhaust, and a chipped p28, and iabs are stuck wide open
any feed back would be great!!!

i would think a stock p28 would run it very badly, you need to go get the car turned or run it on a p13, unless you do that the car is gonna run like crap.

run the p28 to see if vtec works, the p28 will not kill it and your motor will be fine, this is just to test to see if its your chip that is not allowing vtec to engage or something other than your ecu. Just don't plan on using it as a long run, it will kill your motor.
