Default H22 Intake manifold question

I really need some input..
i have a 97 civic hatch with an 2000 h22a4 swap.
my engine and tranny are both out of the car (both bolted together in one piece) ready to be dropped in butt.. the main issue holding me back from getting it in.
i ordered the sk2 intake manifold after making sure i asked and being reasured 3 times that it would fit in my engine bay... well it doesnt.

what i am inquiring about is ... is there a manifold (other than oem) that will fit ??? or should i just use my stock h-series manifold...
i have heard of people moving their firewalls back in order to make this fit, but i dont know if im willing to get that crazy and go that far...

any information would be very much appriciated as i am totally at a dead end for what to do... money wise, as well as mentally.
thank you so much!
