you would have to make slight modifications to either, but i'd go with the civic stock intake.
get a good drop in and leave off the resonator.

Re: h22 headers (VTEC13)
you can get a dc header and do a 2.5in collector mod. They make good power and you will still have a carb number on the header.

Re: h22 headers (watsvtecEK)
first off, the DC header sucks. Its a stock replacement, not a performance upgrade. Changing the size of the collector does little change.
and i would imagine that the stock intake off the civic is a little small to be running on the h22. The h22 stock intake should work ok. Buddy of mine has an h22 ek coupe with the skunk2 intake manifold and my cold air from the 98 lude fits perfectly.

Port the stock h22 header and modify the collector. It will be vastly superior to a DC sports.

and you know this because you have tried it?

Yes.
And that there are plenty of h22'ers and h2b'ers that run modified oem headers with great results.

Re: h22 headers (98vtec)
so a cold air intake from a lude fits on my EK. The only thing is that i wana keep it as stock looking as possible in case a cop pops my hood. The pigs here in cali are dicks. It currently has the stock air box from a del sol vtec, but the only thing is that the box sits on my lower radiator hose and it wont bolt in.

how about just go on ebay.com and buy a 70 dollar (shipped!) header..... then do the 2.5" collector mod to it.. cheapest way to go.
