2.5 COLLECTOR MOD ON EDELBROCK PRO FLOW HEADER
I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANY PICS OF THE 2.5 COLLECTOR MOD ON THE EDELBROCK PRO FLOW HEADER? I JUST RECIEVED MINE AND I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'VE READ SOME OF THE ARCHIVES BUT I WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS SOME PICS SO I CAN SEE WHAT EXACTLY TO DO. THANKS
you don't know what to do?
um, install it? lmao. maybe if you're a little more specific.
if you can't install it i'd bring it to a good exhaust shop..
also i hope you have a good b pipe/axleback.
good luck.

I believe he is referring to increasing the size of the collector on the header, not on how to install it. I would also like to see some pictures of how this modification is performed.
since your in torrance try contacting importbuilders or visit or importbuilders.com
jeff has done some header collector work and have seen good results with it.

ALL THEY DO IS CUT OFF THE ORIGINAL COLLECTOR AND WELD A 2.5 PIPE WITH A NEW FLANGE. HAVE NOT PUT ON YET SO CANT DYNO BUT I HAVE A FRIEND THAT WAS USING THE JDM ITR HEADERS AT FIRST AND DYNOED 207 THEN HE SWITCHED TO THE EDELBROCK WITH THE 2.5 COLLECTOR AND DYNOED 212
i just did it on my car a little over a week ago.
it's the fawkin bomb
more everything: low end, mid range, high end power.
it also makes your car sound a lil better

Cut it off
2.5" tube, ovaled on one end
tools to flare the end
Might as well recycle the original flange
turned out to fit
