H22 in EG Question...
I posted this in the hybrid forum over a week ago, and due to low thread traffic it takes an eternity to get a response, if ever so...
Question...
I have a built H22A in my '94 Civic. I have everything bought for my turbo setup, but have not decided what to do for tuning. I currently have a tuned S200 unit, but its going to be sold, since Hondata has discontinued everything related to it.
Should I...
Install and fab everything an tow the car to my local tuner, who will use Chrome, charging me for the tune...approx. $450. Keep in mind I can't adjust anything.
Or buy the S300 unit on eBay with the chipped P28 including the boost control feature for $750, and have the ability to tune it via my laptop. Keep in mind I will be able to sell my Profec Type S if I go this route, freeing up another $200+.
Seems like a no-brainer, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything here.

Do you know how to tune cars? If you do, why not tune it yourself. If you don't then just go and get it tuned by someone else.
