Has anyone tried to put some guages into the 96-98 Radio slot? I'm debating on whether i should take my radio out and just put 2-3 Guages in there. Only because I'm getting fairly pissed at the headunit i just bought, its a Jensen VM9512HD. It came with a ridiculously huge bundle of wires at the back of it to plug in auxiliaries, and as such its a huge pain to shove into the dash to secure it.

move your radio to your lover din above your cup holders. you dont need to extend any wires or anything. its a plug and play move. then put your gauges up in your upper din with a oem block off plate to hold the gauges. that is just what i would recommend

I thought about that but the Jensen VM9512HD has a flip out screen. making it hard to open the screen.

on a side note: i like the pedals and shift ****. brand?

how about putting your gauges about the cup holder?
they are sparco pedals, and a momo **** (i had to go leather **** because i had a spoon and in the summer that thing would burn my hand if parked outside for to long)

ah very nice. i went with the stock 96-98 GSR shift ****. Pleather and comfortable in my hand.

does any body have any pics?? i was gonna mount my tuner view down by the cup holders but i use my cup holders alot lol

i almost wanna see if i can fit the vm 9512 into this. i know its a 99-00 but look at the piece below the climate control, where teh radio is.

I know, but that center console shifter trim looks kinda gay :/
assuming i'd have to swap the center and that trim piece to get it to look nice.
