ok i know many ppl say just stick with the original gauges and add xtras as wanted but has anyone ever did a complete redo of their gauge system. i wanna use the aftermarket small ones that are on the pillar and make a custom housing for the rest.

i pretty much wanna use my current cluster space, or some of it for switches top control watewver i hook to them. i was just wondering if anyone has ever done a complete gauge overhaul

theres a few. depends..do you have a kswap..? if so you can do alot.

if its obd2 you can do alot too.
you can get the gocart clusters. the small ones that are customizable.

google tunerview from neptune.

ima use the bluetooth obd2 reader/scanner from PLX and use my droid 2 on a car dock.

you can always get an ap1 or ap2 cluster and spend $50 for a speedohealer and $200 for a converter and wire that in.

^^PLX is pretty ballin. it'll run four gauges for me in one spot.

workin on doin just this save for a tach probably cuz 9.5k is good and high enough for a street car.

wouldn't be too hard. specially if you used in dash gauges.

would be cool to have big $ and get an ipad and hardwire it in to have power and hold it down and display everything and tune it on the side of the road......hmmmm
