Default GSR rear swaybar on 6th gen civic ex?

i was going to grab a 14mm GSR instead of the ITR swaybar.. its coming with gsr endlinks, brackets and bushings
Will this go on the same way as the ITR anti-sway? do i just need Si endlinks or do i need the Beaks reinforcement kit? i'm assuming i don't because its close to the same size as the Si sway right?
thanks

I do not know if bolts right up or not. However you shouldn't need a beaks kit for it. The Si rear sway is 13mm.

anybody tried this? maybe i would be better off with an Si rear sway. i still have stock suspension btw but will change that out this spring.

i did a search and somebody said the 99 si rear sway is 15mm, and 00 is 13mm... is this true?

The gsr sway bar will not work with the Si endlinks. I tried this on my girl's car, and could not install them. Better off with a Si sway bar.

I went the simple route and put the SI rear sway on my 98ex. It is 13mm.

I put the SI rear sway on while I still had stock springs/struts. I felt a lot more confident when cornering and it reduced a lot of the understeer on my EX which also has a stock 22mm front bar. The car had a very nice balance for daily driving. I still had quite a bit of body roll, but I was still on stock springs.

Later I upgraded to some koni yellows w/eibach pro-kits. Yeah, I know that the shocks are overkill, but wanted to do it right the first time. Anyways, on the new suspension, I once again have understeer, but it isn't too terrible. Under hard cornering my front end will slip while the rear is completely planted, so I think that a larger rear is in order (along with better tires). Something between 17-19mm should do the trick nicely. I think that a 22mm rear bar would be serious overkill for my needs.

So overall, The SI rear sway is a great upgrade if you can fidn it cheap. I got mine for $50. Don't expect miracles, but it is well worth the money.

my car does the same thing. all i have is a front strut bar and the stock front sway of course, and the tires in the front slide. hmmm maybe i should get a bigger rear sway to begin with and not waste time with the Si..
thanks!

If you haven't already upgraded your springs/struts, then you should do that before buying a large sway bar.
