gsr motor
i have a 92 civic with a 95 gsr motor in it and a gsr motor redlines at 8000 but i can only go 7500 hundred with mine. right when i get to 7500 it like cuts out or something and i need to go to 8000, if you know whats wrong help me out please.

either wacked cluster, or you could be having timing belt weakness - i had a bad tensioner and bad belt and struggled for 6200rpm... then with new belt and tensioner i blasted to the 7200's and up (no point in being there but for awe)

Considering the B18C1 power curve peaks at 7600 RPM, there is definitely a point to shifting at 8000.
