gsr into 95dx..wiring needed

Default gsr into 95dx..wiring needed

i checked the stickied threads and such, did a quick search, couldnt find anything. basically i got a 95 dx with a jdm b18c in it, someone attempted to do the wiring but boarded the failboat in the process..so now i need to redo this all. what is my best bet? getting a dx harness and going from there or getting a gsr harness and making it work on my dx chassis? schematics with pinouts would be very appreciated, i dont have the money to buy a rywire or chasebays harness so dont suggest it. i do however have time, so i can most definitely do this on my own

A 92-95 EX harness would be the easiest. That way, VTEC is allready wired in (atleast to the engine harness). You'll have to add in knock and the butterflies if you still have them.

teamintegra.net had some good wiring and ECU pinout charts. That's what I use for a lot of my swaps.

Just look for "civic ECU pinout" on google or something.

There's really only 3 or 4 wires that need to be added on. Be VERY VERY careful with the Knock sensor harness. The knock sensor is ridiculously easy to break while taking off the harness plug. If you think you're being careful enough, be more careful. Then be even more careful than that.

Pull the plug STRAIGHT out. It's harder than it sounds when you're swearing and reaching up for it from under the car if it's not on a lift. Remove the axles and everything first to make it easy on yourself if you need to.
