Gsr head tapped for ls vtec
Ok I have searched and found nothing to answer my question I currently have a ls vtec wit a Gsr head I am buying my buddies Gsr block wich head gasket do I use even tho the head is tapped for the lsvtec

Depending on how you tapped the head you can simply remove the flush plug, clean out the passage and run a regular gsr head gasket. Either way you do it you should be using a gsr head gasket.

What if I didn't remove the plug n ran the Gsr head gasket with it plugged would I styll be ok doing so since I have it ran for the ls vtec ? Thanx for the help

i kinda read the question wrong so your going with a full gsr motor? if i were you i would remove the plug and clean it out like low91rex said, use the gsr headgasket and run it the way it was intended. you'll also have to remove the oil feed line that is currently going to the head for lsv and put the stock plug back in he head

Yes going with a full Gsr motor and can't remove the plug cause when I had the head built he shaved it with the plug in so can't really get it out so would I styll be able to use a Gsr head gasket with the plug being in there or do I use a different gasket
