gsr in cx vacuum help
So.. gsr, in a cx, with no charcoal can. I didn't really do anything, just didnt come with one and the car ran fine without it. I think I need to reroute some wires??? because its throwing code 43 and it bogs kinda. I just want a quick fix until i get paid, I just started a new job today and yeah.
And I was wondering where the vacuum hose on top of the gsr manifold goes to??? I think its the iab but I'm not sure, theres 2 vacuum hoses, but only 1 side is connected. My idle doesn't bounce. And ideas?

Re: (Hanmin)
i read somewhere that a code 43 is related to an o2 sensor.. something to check out..
you dont have your iab's hooked up? one hose comes out of the back of the manifold, down to the iab canister, back out up to the iab plunger. not sure if thats what your talking about or not..
your idle may not bounce up and down with a vacuum leak, it might just idle higher than it should.

Re: (Hanmin)
the black sensor ontop of the intake manifold?.. the purge solenoid?
If only one side is connected.. it'll create a vacuum leak when the solenoid is activated.. Either get a charcoal canister, or create a plug as a temporary fix.
Ie. vacuum line with a small bolt or something similar.

okay, started throwing code 43 again, looked at it and my butterfly was T'd off with the fpr sharing the same vacuum. I just cut the vacuum to the butterfly and blocked it, seems to be running fine, for now.
