ob1 gsr vacuum leaks idle problems
i have a obd1 gsr. i bought it from someone who put the motor in. i noticed that it has no emissions equipment at all (iab, solenoid) . it has no charcal box but has a catch can. my idle is wacked out (idles at around 1500). i tried adjusting via the screw on the tb. when doing that i noticed some capped off vacuum ports or whatever they are. can anyone tell me what i should do with them? i included some pics. could this lead to my idle problems thankss

i know the line is not a vacuum line but anyone know what it is anyways?
and the little one on the im seems to suck air and stalls the motor out when i tried to cap it.

btw i have a gutted im.

Unplug the iacv from the back of the intake manifold. Its lumps out and is attached to the manifold. If the high idle stops then your iacv is clogged and needs to be cleaned if it doesnt stop the problem is somewhere else.
^^idle is supposed to drop when you unplug the iacv.
if it DOESN'T drop, there may be a problem with it.
that nipple coming out of the intake in the second pic i believe is for fuel recirculation into the intake stream. if it is, that would be a huge vacuum leak right there. try capping it with your finger and see what happens.
op, did you unplug the iacv when you attempted to adjust idle? you should have. and it should be adjusted to roughly 5-600rpm w/iacv unplugged.
the fitv could also be stuck, causing it to stay in fast idle. test it.
