Default GSR CiviC Please helP

Ok I DOnt HaVe a gsr civic but i got this ecu it is p72 i thinks it is from a gsr i have a single cam non vtec would it work?? i tried it out it runs fine even better and doesnt redline till 8300 rpm can this mess up my engine please help...

well yeah if you are reving to 8300 you're going to break your engine....in case you don't know, just because your ecu now allows you to rev higher, doesn't mean your engine can take it...you will break something soon enough.

there is no performance advantage to using a p72 on your engine
