gsr or b16 head for my b20v project?
i have a b20b4 in my 92 eg hatch and im going for the crvtec but what are the pros and cons between the two heats.... since a type r i definately cant afford

whatever is cheaper. they are virtually the same as far as power. i just prefer the B16/PR3 head because i hate GSR manifolds. they are hard to work with in the engine by and the throttle cable brackets and stuff are wack. unless u jus buy an aftermarket manifold for the GSR head. up to u bro. *apparently gsr head yields a very small bit more compression.

if your going to build the head, go gsr for the smaller combustion chamber giving you a lil bump in compression but if your going w/ a stock head go for the si for the valvetrain and stock ports.

i plan on trying to turbo the b20v eventually so im goin low compression and the head would be stock for a while but ij would get skunk2 im and build the rest before i turbo it

GSR has better Combustion Chambers, which are more flatter, while the B16 Flows better. If your going Turbo, your going to want to air to flow well. I say B16 Head.
