GRINDING in 4th Gear...why?
Just noticed in the past few days that my 4th gear grinds slightly when I shift in it. It goes in fine, just grinds a bit on the way in. It does not do it in normal driving conditions. Only when I push the car. I've got 47k miles and I do have an ACT extreme/street clutch with 17k miles on it.
What could be the problem? What should I do first?

Re: GRINDING in 4th Gear...why? (eTec)
this happen to me, but in 3rd gear......driving normal was ok, but when i go past 3500rpm from 2nd and go into 3rd. it would grind before going into it. Since i had a warranty, went to the honda dealer and they had to rebuild 3rd gear cuz the sychro was out.

I'm not even sure if my warranty is up or not. If it is up, what does it normally cost to repair it? If my warranty is still valid, would they still honor it when they see all the mods I've done?

the syncro's on hondas are made of bronze and they suck you can get stainless
steel ones but they are expensive
