Thermal R&D makes clean looking nice toned exhaust....and a lot of people like Apex'i stuff (World Sport is good in my opinion.) There are so many brand names and choices and opinions out there, it really depends upon how you want it to perform, look, sound. Do a search and see what other people have had to say...that's always the first step before posting a ?

reason is because they do not fit period. i had a greddy evo from my 97 coupe and tried to put in my hatch and my freind who owns a muffler shop told me its not possible. the evo is too long. i belive greddy makes the power extreme for the hatch

Just get an Apex'i N1 exhaust or Thermal R&D.. but i like how the Thermal sounds. Doesnt Greddy make the SP for hatches? And personally i think the Evo is ugly. You should just get an exhaust w/ a straight pipe for better flow. But i give Thermal a .

I advise against the Apex n1 on the "eg" hatch. It hangs very low, this is why i sold mine.

i have hks hiper cat back and it hangs just like that....the piece that goes under the lca is about 2.5-3 inches off the ground and it really dosnt hit anything because its directly under the suspension ..you have to be carefull when going up steep hills and when driving on shitty roads....id get the apexi WS i hear great things about that exhaust from many diffrent people with many diffrent cars

in scc april 2002 project eg went from 133whp and95ftlb of torque with stock exhaust to140whp and 101ft lb of torque with the apexi ws...thats pretty impressive imo but all an exhaust does is open up the motor..the eg has a b16 in it incase you dont have that issue

On my car it wasn't the pipping that scraped it was the bottom of the cannister i had 1.5-2in clearance with neuspeed race springs.

Are you running turbo?

The GReddy EVO exhaust is just an upgrade from the GReddy PE (Power Extreme). The PE was GReddy's design for a turbo exhaust application. EVO was just an newer style. You can still find the PE for your hatch. The PE looks better too.

If not turbo, I prefer Tanabe. RM first, then HM.

at least you wont have ground clearence issues but you might have a whole bunch of new noise pollution issues

Thats an Greddy PE exhaust system? Damn it looks just like the EVO system. And by the way nice looking hatch.

Noise: GReddy for the most part is quiet. Plus there are decible lasw that can protect you.

Pollution: I just had emissions done on my D16Z6 w/ i/h/e, and a ton of other stuff......passed in flying colors.
