Default Greddy or Edlebrock kit for d-series, need for slim fan?

Looking at the greddy kit and the edlebrock turbo kits for the 96-00 civic and was wondering if the need for a slim fan is needed. Also anyone that has done the turbo kit any special modifications that were needed? I know both kits are a/c and p/s compatible and more than likely a smaller fan probably isn't necessary but I am asking to save myself the trouble .

I searched and found a couple threads on the edlebrock kit but nothing was said about the radiator fans. I know a couple of you guys run this kit and can offer some great insight.

TIA
