do it now. a T/B install is cake. Just remember to bleed the coolant when you are done. this is for a DX motor right? did you get the intake mani port matched?

Its my del sol. D15B7 motor. Stock intake manifold. Hopefull I'll have a Edlebrock intake manifold soon too, if they make them for the D15 . If not I'll try SKUNK2.

For some reason, my intake feels like it made my car lose power. Its just a filter on the rubber stock pipe. I'm getting a AEM CAI real soon. Just did that for now.

IMO a CAI won't make a big difference as long as you have a K&N type filter on your tube. If you want real power, swap your cam out or up your compression ratio.

Ok, I'm dumb or something. What does IMO stand for? Its not a K&N filter. Its a Ractive heat sheild filter. I'm about to take the head sheild off so it sucks more air!!
I got the filter for free, so I tossed it on... I'm really thinking about putting the stock airbox back on!

or you can taper the intake manni with a die grinder, smooth things up a bit. i know that the only point of getting an intake manni is if you are running turbo, otherwise its not worth it, unless you are running huge NA power, but thats unlikely.
