got my cyl head from Alaniztechnologies 56k beware
very satisfied on the end result of the project that I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Anyway I came in Joes shop knowing very little about the science behind cylinder head porting and now that I have gone through this I feel i've gained a little more.
I got his Competition head work and welded chambers pent roof style.
here are some specs:
Chamber volume: from 42.7 now I have 40.6
milled the head:0.023
my intake port flowed from stock @0.450 lift 79.5% to 88.5% =cfm gain is @16.61
my exhaust port flowed from stock @0.450 lift 60% to 65.5% =cfm gain is @ 10.15
My compression ratio from a 10.2 went up to 10.9 using c-speedracing comp calculator and accomplished that by welding the chambers and milling with stcok head gasket.
these information i got from Joe would really help me determine how well my camshaft would produce hp and overall performance for that matter with proper tuning and also shows that my head did gain more flow when it left the shop.
