Default Good idea or bad?

yea...still on the engine thing...i HAVE decided on the b18c because of the tranny and the LSD i am curious about boost...i read from someones post here...or on some other site that properly tuned....a higher C/R with some boost will have some serious power...and by high C/R i mean maybe 9.5-10.0 and if i do...someone said resleeving would be a good idea if i didnt wanna kill the engine...and what kinda boost should i put out? thanks.

you can run 8lbs all day long on a stock block if it`s dialed in.

I assume you mean a B18C5/Spec-R??? Like voodoo says with near flawless tuning you can run 7-8lbs boost daily. If you were to lower c/r to 9.5 then with good tuning a built/resleeved block you could double that daily.

The Sir-G is the JDM GSR. If thats the case, it is lower compression than a type R so you would have a bit more room for error in the boost department.
