Is this a good deal?
I am very new to Hondas and I am looking at a 93 Civic Hatchback 5sp with 103k and they are asking 3k for it and I am pretty close to buying it but figured I would ask you gurus if this is a decent price. I will probably do a swap down the road but right now I am just looking for a daily driver with plenty of potential.
Body, interior etc look good. One thing I dont like it no armrest so hopefully I can find something aftermarket to help with that.
Thanks and awesome forum you guys have going here

Re: (PHOBIA)
Paint looks good not faded at all, The milage was my main concern. He has another 93 with 140k for $2000 buck I would rather save the miles on it as I do want to do other things like a swap etc down the road and dont want to be doing it with 200k miles on it.

Do you think its a good deal? **** what we think half these guys here are lowballers anyway. If its a clean car for 500 dollars running theyll still try to lower it.
anyway if you think its fair then grab it. Just dont pay over KBB. You should look it up.

i wouldnt really worry about the milage all that much, how far down the road are you planning.there on some guys on here with 250K on there cars still runing strong, remember its a honda not a ford.personally i would try and talk down the $200- the only thing thats going to happen if you ask him to lower the price is he might say no,but no big deal because you were going to pay the full price anyways if you were going to buy it.it doesnt hurt to try.
