Default Going to do y7/y8 mini me swap.

What else do i need and should i replace? TIA

y8 complete head
head gasket
y8 timing belt?
spark plugs
oil
coolant

you also need a d16y8 manifold that matches the obd of the head (obd2a vs obd2b) also the intake and exhaust mani gaskets, get a two pin iacv and also a d16y8 throttle body. Make sure to do the two step iacv fix. Wire the knock sensor with oem shielded grounded wire, and also put a resistor for the fuel tank pressure sensor or else a code 91 will happen. Good luck.

is it real necessary to change out the waterpump? and where do i put the resistor for the fuel pump?

WERD.

Replacing the water pump is for preventative maintanence reasons only. You're going to have the engine apart, so why not put in a new pump and while you're in there, a new tensioner pulley as well.

more pain more gain, actually i was a minime but i DE minimed and got a y8 tranny and trust me, a dx with an ex tranny is faster than a dx with an ex head

yea if you are looking to upgrade everything you would want a tranny too, if you where on a budget get the tranny first

yea that's what i was thinking too but i got a good deal on the head. getting the tranny within a month =D 15 seconds here i come i hope!

tranny, flywheel, pistons, rods, head, cam, valve springs, ITB's, uberdata
