going to attempt a major tune up... need advice. feel free to add on.

Default going to attempt a major tune up... need advice. feel free to add on.

distibutor cap
rotor
spark plugs
spark plug wires

fuel filter
air filter
oil filter

fluids:
engine flush
transmission flush?
power steering
coolant flush
oil

timing belt
waterpump
power steering & air condition belt(S)
engine valves
oil pump

PCV valve

intake manifold (carb cleaner doesn't seem to work when car is running, it just dies when i spray in there)
clean the battery terminals
Reground grounds

i would replace the ground wires while you're at it... pretty good list of tuneup items..add oil/filter change, replace pcv

as for cleaning intake manifold, you gotta take it off..

what is the pcv? picture of it?

and intake manifold...can i not just spray throttle body cleaner into it? or like a mist of seafoam?

also if your doing a complete tune up, maybe add brake pads and rotors? just a thought maybe also bleed the brakes to put fresh brake fluid in the lines

If you are going that far I would advise sending your injectors for cleaning/flow balancing as well.

yea, i was going to seafoam "the 3" spots on my car. how do i flow balance my injectors?

anyway...keep it comming. thanks
