whats up, i searched on ht for something about this motor swap shop and came up empty, has anybody purchased engines from them, please tell me your exp with them,im going tomorrow to buy a d15b vtec or maybe a b18b(depends on the price) i want to go there couse its close, does anyone know some good places to buy a motor around oc.

Dude bluebird here on H-T selld D15bs for $300 hit him up and the do the swap yourself. A shop will charge you about a grand to do it plus theyll take their time. Were in socal are you at? And were is this shop at?

im in anaheim and thy are too. sorry for the misunderstanding im just going to buy the motor and install myself, they sell them for 350.00 and im going to buy a cherry picker thing from harbor freight for like 100.00. but im just wondering if anybody has purchased anything from them,because the b18 doesn't come with a warranty because its a "hi performance motor".

i bought my dohc zc from them, good prices , good people.warrantys on jdm motors, in my opinion are about as worthless as a bag of dog ****..

well I went down there to check out what they had and I was greeted by the owner of Go Motors and I asked him for the d15b vtec motor, here's how the conversation went
owner- yeah i have those, there 480.00
me-what? i called and you guys said they went for 350.00
owner-lol no, whooo said that
me- alright nevermind see ya
owner- wait ill go ask who said that[seconds later] ok 350.00 plus 20.00 tax
me- can I check out the engines?[so I go back there and all the engines are on racks up high, so i cant even open the valve cover or check for mising parts]
but i do notice that there is no dizzy,so I ask him if they come with them.
owner yes, whatever is on the motor is what comes with it.
me- so can you pull down a complete motor for me?
owner- there all the same just take one, besides my workers are at lunch and we don't know which ones have a dizzy and which ones don't.

If you can wait, be patient and eventually you'll find a pristine engine for super cheap, or a heavily built engine for the same price as a used one from an importer...

I bought from SKN, I think they're in Gardena... their # is 310 324 7788.
