Default www.japanmotorimport.com ???

Does anyone have buying experience from http://www.japanmotorimport.com? They have pretty decent prices and have free shipping this month on their motors. The only downfall is that they are based in Canada. Please post if anyone has past experiences with them. TIA!!

i'd have to agree, you wouldn't buy a car without driving it would you. i'm in amazement on how people can get scammed for more than $2000 and up...... i guess trust is easily accquired

bro did u just read what they said... your best bet would be to get ur lazy **** up and look in the yellow pages for some Jap Motor Importers in your area or somewhere close... then call see what they got... then u can personally see what it is you are getting and who you are dealing with... your talking about alot of $$$ here, dont just pay and not know what you are getting...

EDIT: the lazy **** is a joke, not meant for u to get offended

japanmotorimports is a good place to deal with.
i needed another longlbock and i saw pictures of my friends engine from them.
i emailed them, and they called me back.
I spoke with Derek, wired money to the their bank account, and right now I am expecting a call from the shipping company to arrange for delivery time as the motor is on a truck today in my own town. Every time I have called Derek has answered immediately and been very helpful and polite. If the longblock I receive is HALF of what the swap my friend got ill be ahppy as hell.

Because I think everyone selling motors in Canada is either Osaka, or owned by Osaka in some form or another. They have already been here on HT as 3 different companies. I think a 4th is about to reveal itself.

Nothing good has come out of Canada, that is why we sent Celine Dion back.
