Default getting rid of those dealer decals?

here's what i mean:

i was thinking about just getting out there with a blow dryer and a razor/my fingernail...as you can see it was coming off before i got it. i dont want to kill my paint, or leave a mark, if i can help it.

btw, for all of you who live in Florida...that's not where i live that's where the car is from (hence the 904 decal)

Blow dry + razor. Cut it extrememly carefully. I fucked up mine so bad when I was taking the "Civic" off.

Then Goo Off it after and it should A OK USA!

go to an auto paint supply place, and pick up a rubber wheel it is used of just this purpose, stick it into a drill and it will remove the stickering then just take some glass cleaner over the residue and wipe it off. please don't take a blade to your paint

In the past I have used a credit card to remove my "civic" and "si" decals, as well as my "type R" decals, once I was over the whole "type R" thing. Just put it up against the car and move it side to side (at an angle) to slowly peel the decal off. Then clean it off with surface cleaner or soap and water. Or use goo gone, if needed.

With patience, it will not damage factory paint. Then wax the area.

I used that "Goof Off" sticker remover, worked great!

For stickers just heat it up and peel it off with your finger. Then take either rubbing compound and wax or goo gone. For pen stripes just peel with no heating if its not 10 years old.

dont use a lighter or a razor, just use heat and ur nails, then get it off and use some goo gone or something to get rid of the residue/sticky

Just take it in to Nationwide Autobrokers and tell them to take their ******* advertisement off your car before you charge them ad space.

I hate it when dealerships do that. If I'm going to drive around with your advertisement on my car, you better be paying me for it, that's for damn sure.

I made the dealership take their license plate frame off my new Scion when I bought it. LoL...

Or you could use goof-off and a popsicle stick if you aren't an *** like me.

Yeah some dealerships offer you free towing with in like 10 miles of the dealership for having their plate. Which is pretty lame if you ask me.

I took off my Civic and pinstripping with a hair dryer and my fingernail. then use a cleaner afterwards. Looks much cleaner without the pinstrips or Civic stickers.

I had the same type of sticker in the same location... heat and my fingernail is all it took. Then Goo-Gone for any leftover residue and polished the area for good measure. This was on a 4 year old silver car at the time and no discoloration. took off the pinstriping too.
