Default Rim Painting Which do you Prefer

im bout to paint my blades, i scratched em up a little bit and i juss wonder where you guys got them done if you took them sumwhere, and if u didnt it urself what paint did you use

did them myself....got a scotchbright pad, and some wheel paint from autozone....scuffed them up....the sprayed....its sticking pretty good

damn them down good.. and make sure the surface is sanded smoooth... can't exaggerate that enough... and then, just buy some wheel paint and paint them

don't paint the blades.. they look WAY better polished IMO.

i powdered my si wheels because the previous owner curbed the **** out of em and spray painted them.

If you got the money, powdercoat them because its thicker and you will not have to worry about chips.

Elsewise, sandblast em or sand them to remove all primer and get to the base. Give them a little scruff with the scotchbright pad. Then 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of whatever color you want.

Thats how i did a set of my buddy's wheels and still holds up.
