Default Getting ELD code and no ELD

Well I have a 92 Civic Hatch with a GSR swap I just put in and am getting an ELD code. The problem is that it has no ELD. There is nothing in the fusebox where the ELD should be, a buddy of mine told me Canadian Civic's don't have the ELD. So what I'm wondering is if it will hurt anything to drive the car this way..

The eld should also deal with your alternator, i would try a known working one. If that doesnt work i would try replacing the fuse box.

The alternator is charging fine, already checked that out. Just wondering if it will hurt anything driving it like this for a bit, I'm just breaking in the motor before I put my turbo stuff on and don't want to have to buy a fusebox from the US and wait for that if the Canadian one's do not have the ELD in the fusebox. I tried my Hondata s300 ecu and I get no cel's at all, just tried it for the hell of it. But I'm using the stock GSR ECU for now.
