I have a z6 tranny in my shed with about 80k on it. Is there any way I could open it up and look to see if it's in good condition? Like what to look for? To see if everything will work fine and there will be no grinds or whatever??

I'm clueless about trannys... not the function, but everything else. Thanks

Transmissions are annoying to put back together,fun to take apart though.If you really feel it nescessary,to get into it band the assembly as you pull it out and have a good manual to put it back together.Have fun.
