General civic SI questions.

Thanks for all the info guys. Yeah I could see 9K being a decent price for those years. I just hoped there was a little older 160hp version haha, cheaper...
But I'm definately not going to race my car or anything, except maybe a few highway runs for fun. And I like how the coupes look, and the reliability.
Trust me if I was shooting for a fast car then Honda would definately not be my first choice...
If my 92 civic had a man trans and a decent body then I would consider a swap, but its got a crappy auto and its body is extremely dented up.
So I'm still unsure what I want to do, might just have to settle with whatever I get...

Go with the si. Great everyday car that handles great, good gas, and all around fun car.

I would also say pay a little more for one in good condition than cheap out and end up paying more in the long run.

from my understanding the 1996-1997 del sol had a b16a2 aswell. i got this from honda. so im assuming the list is like this
1992-1995 Civic Si = D16Z6 = 125 hp SOHC
1993-1997 Del Sol Si = D16Z6 = 125 hp SOHC
1993-1995 Del Sol Vtec = B16A3 = 160 hp DOHC
1996-1997 Del Sol Vtec = B16A2 = 160 hp DOHC
1999-2000 Civic Si = B16A2 = 160 hp DOHC
the other notable differences from the 1992-1995 Si and the 1999-2000 Si is the 92-95 was only offered as a HATCH and the 1999-2000 Si was only offered as a Coupe. someone please correct me if i am wrong about anything here.
