Gear Rattle Noise Light Weight Flywheel
Hello again... hmm I wonder that cat will show up again. Anyway anyone here experienced some noise when cruising in 4th gear or 5th gear at low rpm about 2.5k -3k rpm. I nearly always hear that noise the when cruising low rpm.
I search online and some information here

You can check above link later. It said that if your car using lightened flywheel can cause the noise. Well I'm using the spoon flywheel(about 4.2 kg i think) and exedy 3 puck clutch(pretty stiff). So any solution or is it normal to be noise like that? Cause I always heard that noise from an old car normally. Well my lovely JDM eg9 1994 is pretty old car too but with powerful type b16b engine suppose sound rattle like this? Or any good advise would be appreciate. Thank You Meow

Re: Gear Rattle Noise Light Weight Flywheel
Well most the noise came out when I shift to high gear, for example 5th gear cruising at 25mph at less that 2500 rpm. So the sound clack* clack*.... then when the mph and rpm higher the sound disappear. The sound is from gearbox. impossible engine knocking. Because I heard this kind of sound quite common to most old car there. any suggest?
