Default GC question...

I'm wondering if you can put the front springs in the rear and vice versa so the rear is stiffer to promote a more neutral setup? Can you do this or is it not advisable? BTW, I got the off the shelf civic kit with agx's. Thanks.

I'd suggest getting new springs rather than do that. If the springs are the same length though you could.

no dont do it. the gc in stores already have low spring rate. the front is not going to hold too well with the rear springs.

I belive the Rear springs that come with most GC setups are stiffer than the stock springs that are on the car, so if they are the same length I would swap them, it will make the car more neutral and promote oversteer, but you have to be aware of the situation before you do anthing stupid because it will bite you.

The rears are pretty tame, I wouldn't put them up front.

The fronts are a decent street rate for the front; if anything, sell the rear springs and buy some 450s or 500s like I did.

I'm running 380f/450r with Konis, 21mm front and 22mm rear Comptech sway.

Works great at autox stuff.

Try it, and take it to an open parking lot. What can it hurt as long as you are in a safe area? If it doesnt work, switch them back. Its free.

Well, they are different lengths so I think I'll install them correctly. If anything, I'll sell the rears and get stiffer ones if need be.
