Default Gauge mounting.. aftermarket gauges not in the A-pillar.

So the last couple of days I've been pondering over how to mount the gauges in my Civic, and I haven't been able to find any good ideas on the internet. I was hoping maybe some folks on here would be kind enough to post pics of their own gauge mountings that were NOT on the pillars.

I've got four gauges to mount.. Boost gauge, A/F Ratio, Oil temp, oil press....

All 2-1/16" (52.4mm) autometers.

I've seen the single DIN plates, which are nice, but force me to relocate my radio somewhere else, which I don't want to do. I don't want to pull the HVAC panel since I'd like to at least keep a heater for when it's cold, plus defrost. I'd prefer the gauges to be easily visible to the driver's seat, so that kind of eliminates glovebox installations. The laptop will be mounted in the glovebox anyway, so it's not an option.

I searched the forums, but didn't find anything worthwhile. Any help would be appreciated. I'm great at some things, but when it comes to creative stuff like this sometimes I just sit and stare and scratch my head if you know what I mean.

in my eg i had the idea of mounting three gauges in the passenger side dash above the glovebox but slanted at an angle to where i can see them but not the passenger and the boost gauge to be where the right heater vent by the window kinda inside the vent. yea you lose that vent but hey its not on your side....it would take some cutting and bondo and paint but once its done it would look better than on the pillars like everyone else.
