Gas Tank Location
I was looking to install some hooks in between the bottom and the back of the rear seat. The hooks are going to be for a childs safety seat. I need to know where the gas tank is located on a 1998 4 door lx civic, so i dont blow my self up. Thanks in advance.

You can just go to the dealership and ask for the "LATCH" anchors for your car. Your car is already set up to install the special anchors for your child seat.
No need to drill through the floor pan (which isn't strong enough anyway) and have the possibility of exhaust fumes come into the vehicle.
