Gas pedal in wrong location
I have a 98 CX Hatch. For some reason my gas pedal is much further to the right from the park pedal than any other honda i have driven (EG's DC2's). For example I can fit the wide park of my foot with a shoe between brake pedal and gas pedal(approx. 5" distance). I've looked at the assembly it seems that all the bolts are in place etc. Has anyone had a similar problem. Is this the same with all EK's? I tried to search but was unable to find a similar issue that anybody had. If anybody knows of a thread, if you give me an aprox. name i will be happy to look again. Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Gas pedal in wrong location (HBKFanatic)
That sucks. Do you know if ITR or EG pedal assemblies bolt into an EK? Cause type r pedal assemblies are perfect. nice and tight pedal location. Gas pedal is right there for heal toe during braking. Current locations is def. teh gay

oh.... i'm used to it. haha. only car i have every drive is 96-00 civics. 3 differant ones.(approx 5 years) I can drive it but I have also driven friends ITR's EG's where the pedals are so much better (more driver friendly) and i cant help thinking that it can be so much better. If all i did was drive to and from work i wouldnt care. but as i stated its very difficult to perform a smooth heal toe when your gas is about 5 inch from the brake. Thanks for your input though.
