I've got a bad exhaust leak that I've been too lazy to fix, and I still average 37MPG+ 94 DX Hatch w/ D15B VTEC.

i get low 30's in my 99 hatch mainly city driving. its basically stock with basic bolt ons and a tranny swap. i'd think you should be doing better than 220 a tank, time for a tune up?

Same thing for me, same car, everything. You should be getting more than 220 per tank, but look of it as MPG rather than miles per tank. Everytime you fill up, just calculate MPG from the miles on the trip meter to the gallon you put in.

I've got a '95 Ex... I was having the exact same problem as you for a couple tanks... Only getting 220 - 240 per tank. I simply changed the plugs and o2 and it jumped back up fast. Also, have you checked the inner walls of your intake manifold? Wipe a finger in there, if it comes out black (which it probably will) grab some carb cleaner and go to town. Hope that helped.
