Garage dented my fender!!!
I took my 2000 Civic Si in to have new Eibach springs put on and the garage that did the work put a dent in my driver's side fender.
The manager didn't seem to act like it was any big deal and had a mechanic come out and try to fix it. The mechanic got most of it out but there was still a small ding that looked like hail damage right above the wheel well. The manager apparently thought that it looked okay and gave me a free wheel alignment for the next time a brought my car there.
Well, I washed my car the next day and noticed that there was actually a bend in the fender that I could not see before because the car was dirty. I was pissed even more! I take my car to two body shops and find out that there was actually around $300 damage because the fender would have to be straightened and repainted.
Tomorrow I am taking the estimates to the garage that damaged the car and I'm going to try and make them pay. Has anyone had problems with a place damaging their car like this?
This makes me wish I had the money to spend on proper tools and work on the car myself. You can't trust anyone with your car.
